Summary
The founder of Screenable, an ex-Google product lead, approached me to help bring their vision of a family-focused app to life. With a need for clear direction in both UX and UI, the client sought a design partner to collaborate closely and define a cohesive product experience.
I worked closely with the founder, generating multiple explorations and concepts to refine the product direction. I crafted detailed user flows, defined a cohesive visual style, and designed microinteractions and animations to enhance the app’s usability and delight. Additionally, I built a robust design kit to ensure consistency and enable the development team to implement the designs.
My design contributions facilitated rapid prototyping, allowing the client to validate features, iterate quickly, and adapt product direction as needed.
The app successfully launched with dozens of families actively using it and was prominently featured in TechCrunch.
