Bonusly

Peer recognition as a points economy everyone can give from.

Bonusly gives every employee a budget of points to give away: recognizing a colleague’s work sends points that accumulate toward a reward catalogue, with the recognition itself visible in a social feed and in tools like Slack.

The loop is positive-sum by construction. There is no rank to lose and no contest to win; the game is generosity, and recognition flows peer to peer rather than only downward from managers. Its health depends on rewards people genuinely want and on managers modelling the giving behaviour.

The design lesson: giving can be the game. When the scored action is recognizing someone else, engagement compounds socially instead of concentrating on a winner.
